The VR-2A vision restrictor replaces the old hood on HGU-56 helmets and used to restrict vision for instrument flying practice. This restrictor can be attached and removed as desired without damaging the helmet visor due to being made from static cling vinyl. This design allows visors to be raised or lowered as normal. On two visor style helmets, use this restrictor on the clear visor to maintain proper day and night usability.
