This single-ear headset (EDMO# 40608G-04) is designed for use in KC-10 aircraft. The single-ear, lightweight design permits ambient sound to be heard and is comfortable during periods of extended wear. It has single volume control, an 8-foot extended coil cord with a single PJ-051 plug, an expanded double foam head pad that eliminates hot spots, and a hybrid flex/wire boom with a noise-canceling M-7A microphone.
