The 21-50-339 is an externally mounted airborne VHF/UHF/ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitter) antenna operating over the maritime and aviation distress frequencies. The radiating element comprises a hard drawn alloy tube inserted into a moulded base which contains foamed-in place matching circuits capable of handling up to 25 Watts power. The method of construction provides protection from environmental conditions including vibration, shock and temperature variations.
