The universal FuelHawk aircraft fuel gauge can calibrated for use on most GA aircraft. It is available in 11, 16, and 26 inch lengths depending on the depth of the fuel tanks. It is an essential tool when pilots need to take on less-then-full fuel due to weight considerations or when the exact amount of fuel left in the tank. It is constructed of a heavy-duty clear plastic and simple to use — just insert the FuelHawk until it hit the bottom of the tank, place a finger over the top, remove from the tank and read the readout in U.S. gallons of usable fuel on the calibration card. This 11-inch universal FuelHawk fuel gauge (EDMO# UNIV/11) uses an eight-inch printed scale that extends only eight inches up the tube — ideal for fuel tanks that hold less than eight inches of fuel.
