The KN 62A Digital DME is a self-contained, 200-channel DME system with solid-state transmitter. The KN 62A can be channeled remotely through almost any NAV receiver to tuned directly with the frequency knob. Dual channel capabilities allow two DME frequencies to be available to pilots at all times — effectively providing a functional DME hold mode. The three position switch makes for simple operation and putting all of the necessary information at the user's finger tips.
