Single-action, double-action (SADA) hand crimp tools are used for crimping terminals and splices. This SADA crimp tool (46470) is for crimping STRATO-THERM terminals. They feature a stationary die, moving die, and locator. When the the tool is closed, two crimping chambers are formed and applies a 'W' crimp to the wire barrel and an ""O"" crimp to the installation barrel of the terminal or splice. The locator aids in positioning the terminal or splice into place. Once engaged, the ratchet will not release until fully closed ensuring a completed crimp.
