Optional Programming Dongle Assembly for all use on Kannad 406 ELTs and Kannad Cs144 Navigation Interface.TheKannad dongle and dongle assembly are designed to store the aircraftprogramming data for the CS144 navigation interface and can also beused in place of the DIN12 ELT connector for fleet operations. Withthe aircraft identification data stored inside the dongles memory chip,the navigation interface has the information readily available toformat a position message for the ELT to transmit. For fleet operationsthe dongle turnes every ELT into an on-line spare. When an ELT ishooked up to a programming dongle, the data writes into the ELT memory.Thisassembly incorporates a programming dongle on one end and a femaleDIN12 on the other designed to make the dongle removeable.
