The C146 Series of antennas provide GPS reception at L1 and L2 frequencies and are suitable for a wide variety of installations. It has been designed with broadband radiating elements and a quadrature feed network. The broadband elements allow the C146 Series to provide continuous coverage from L2 through L1 without regard for operating temperature. The quadrature feed network, beyond offering excellent circular polarization and minimum axial ratio, provides low phase ripple, excellent pattern symmetry and a stable phase center. The C146 Series GPS Antennas are available in many different models, to suit airborne (both subsonic and supersonic), marine and land applications. These antennas are low profile (1.5 inches high) and are easily installed (5 inches or less diameter mounting base). An optional choke ring, the U305-1, is available and is suitable for direct interface with select models within the C146 Series. Use of the U305-1 choke ring mitigates the effects of multi-path interference, which would otherwise diminish system accuracy.
