The ALDCBS1X2 GPS amplified splitter has one input and two outputs and is based on the Wilkinson splitter design. The frequency response covers the entire L-band (GNSS) frequencies with excellent gain flatness. In normal configuration, the RF output (J1) passes DC from a connected GPS receiver through the splitter and onto the antenna allowing the GPS receiver to power both the antenna and the splitter’s internal amplifier. The other RF output (J2) is DC blocked and incorporates a 200Ω resistor to simulate the antenna current draw preventing false antenna alarm faults. This ALDCBS1X2 GPS amplified splitter (EDMO# ALDCBS1X2S) includes one input and two outputs each with BNC connectors.
