The FastFind 220 is a Galileo-enabled Personal Location Beacon (PLB) designed to alert search and rescue services allowing them to quickly locate you in the event of an emergency on either land or sea. When activated the FastFind 220 transmits a coded message on the 406 MHz distress frequency which is monitored by the Cospas-Sarsat satellite system. FastFind PLB features a dual internal GNSS receiver, using both Galileo and GPS technologies, to pinpoint a location to within 62 meter. Then rescue services are then able to pinpoint the precise location using the inbuilt 121.5 Mhz homing transmitter.
