The KAC 502 Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Systems Module (EGPWS) allows the KMD 540/550/850 to show terrain on multi-function displays (MFD). The EGPWS provides tarrian display, situational awareness, terrain alerting and warning, and obstacle alerting to the pilot to reduce the possibility of Controlled Flight into Terrain (CFIT).
